Since the beginning of SMK Negeri 2 Tabanan by the committee, the committee has established an Information and Communication Technology expertise program (Software Engineering expertise program) so that the existence of State Vocational Schools in Tabanan regency (SMKN 1 Tabanan = Business, Management, and Sales is complete; SMKN 2 Tabanan = Information technology; and SMKN 3 Tabanan = Automotive and Buildings). However, the Regent of Tabanan SMK Negeri 2 Tabanan is required to open one more skill, namely: Tata Boga (Restaurant Expertise Program).
